JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION
DINOTRACKER AR
Jurassic World: Dominion Dinotracker AR is a mobile AR game for Android and iOS. It was developed in the Unity game engine. In this game, players are tasked to go out into the real world and look for dinosaurs to fill out their research journal with. Different dinosaurs can be found in different areas depending on the ground type detected. They are placed in the world using the player's camera, after which the player can interact with them.

My role on this project was to spin-up the new project as the initial engineer. This included rudimentary behavior and placeholder UI to test designer's early ideas. After moving past this prototyping phase and adding more engineers to the project, I was the primary AR engineer dealing with ground detection and dinosaur placement. It was my job to make sure we could detect different ground types, place footprints to track the dinosaurs, place and animate the dinosaurs once they were found, and ensure players could take pictures with them.
VERIZON AR PRO INTERACTIVE
Verizon AR Pro Interactive was mobile AR experience for mobile devices. It was developed in the Unity game engine. In this experience, 3D volumetric videos of famous athletes captured with Microsoft's volumetric capture technology at Metastage Studios. The athletes would be placed in the world using the player's camera, after which they would show how to perform some of their signature moves and other activities related to their sport. The goal was to teach users how to perform these moves and activities.

My role on this project was to maintain the Android version of the application. I fixed UI bugs, updated the application with new athletes, and learned how to use 3D volumetric video in a mobile context.

Verizon AR Pro Interactive was retired in December of 2022.
